Double-sided infrared display using an opaque substrate based on infrared image recognition mechanism

The human eye cannot recognize the shape of an object behind opaque substrate; however, by reading and imaging infrared (IR) rays emitted from such object, its substrate can be ascertained. In this study, double-sided light-emitting display was deposited on transmission characteristics were measured under various conditions, as changes in thickness substrate, distance between intensity viewing angle object. By selecting material suitable for IR display, transmittance heat diffusivity improved. Additionally, controlling emitter patterned information colors could expressed vision, similar to RGB wavelength separation visible light. This technology deviates stereotype that a should use transparent demonstrates made if light emission are efficiently controlled.
